Karlskoga is situated in central Sweden, and is part of Örebro County .The city has about 30,000 inhabitants (2007), located on Lake Möckeln.
Karlskoga is best known for being Alfred Nobel’s hometown. Alfred Nobel lived his last three years of life on Björkborns Herrgård, and today’s Nobel Museum here.
