Yverdon-Les-Bains is a small town with 25,000 inhabitants (2008), located on Lake Neuchâtel, in western part of Switzerland .The city belongs to the Swiss canton of Vaud, and is an important regional center for commerce and tourism.

Yverdon-Les-Bains is primarily known for its mineral springs and curative thermal baths with sulphurous water. The city also has cultural and historical attractions, including the medieval Old Town as well as several museums and theaters.

Yverdon castle from the 1200s located in the main square in old town, is one of the most visited sights. The castle also houses a local history museum – “Musée d’Yvedron” (which was founded in 1761) as well as a Swiss fashion museum.

Yverdon-Les-Bains can also offer shopping and nightlife with pubs and nice restaurants.
